Three wins and some quality team play at the 2025 SAC Soccer Jamboree is exactly what the doctor ordered, as SAC 1st Soccer gets set to open CISAA league action this week.

On Yuill Field on Saturday, September 13, the Saints started the day with a convincing 6-0 win over visiting Lower Canada College (QC). Through a pair of goals each from winger Dylan Mahoney '27, forward Josh Henriques '26 and midfielder Merek Husack '27, alongside a three-assist effort from senior forward Jarel Ndombele '26, SAC cruised to victory.

It was more of the same in match two versus St. John's Kilmarnock (ON), as senior forward Jayden Walters '26 and Ndombele each scored twice, with Mahoney and Lusicen Yu '29 adding two assists apiece. With plenty of forward first football, which included one- and two-touch passing around the 18 and some clever cutbacks, SAC collected their second 6-0 victory of the day. New boy centre back Nick Alexander '27 opened his SAC account, with Enzo Han '27 burying the match's final score.

In the finale, the Saints ran into a solid Selwyn House (QC) squad, who proved difficult to break down. With plenty of possession and probing, the Saints found their way through in the 19th-minute via a lovely 20-yard left-footed curler from Walters, followed by a 33rd-minute exclamation point from Henriques for the 2-0 win.

Raistlan Evans '27 earned a pair of clean sheets, with Joseph Corsetti '28 earning the third.

Up next for the Saints is their CISAA league opener at De La Salle College on Wednesday, followed by a weekend trip to Albany, New York for the 2025 NXT LVL Showcase.
