St. Andrew's College 1st Soccer collected two more victories to wrap up their CISAA regular season record at a perfect 5-0-0, earning the Saints first place and home field advantage throughout the post-season.
On the road on Monday, senior winger Heris Ziai '27 buried a second half hat-trick as SAC cruised to a 5-1 win over Upper Canada College. It was the third straight 2026 win for the Saints over UCC, after topping them at Homecoming and in the CAIS National semifinals.
Despite a dominant opening stanza, SAC didn't find the breakthrough until Ziai's first marker, in 47th-minute. Then, the floodgates opened. With plenty of one and touch touch play in the middle of the park the Saints just kept scoring, with Dylan Mahoney '27 and Alex Wang '29 adding to Ziai'a triple. Forward Gabe Covello '28 provided plenty of service and was rewarded with a pair of assists for his effort.
Back home versus Villanova College, it was a sluggish start from the Saints which still resulted in an eventual 4-1 victory with goals from Ziai, Wang, Mahoney and midfield workhorse Luscien Yu '29.
Saints goalkeepers Raistlan Evans '27 and Joseph Corsetti '28 shared the win in both matches.
With their third straight regular season crown secured, the boys have earned a first round bye and will host a CISAA semifinal on Yuill Field on Friday, November 6, with their opponent still to be determined.
Go Saints!
