St. Andrew's College 1st Soccer has been in the midst of a busy winter schedule, that saw the Saints head to Fort Wayne, Indiana over February's Family Day Weekend.
At the Fort Wayne United Showcase, SAC came across a trio of athletic squads, and even with some quality performances, were forced to settle for one tight loss and two draws.
On Saturday, the Saints finished 1-1 against Michigan-based TKO Premier 06, and then conceded two late goals to fall 3-1 to the TKO Premier 07s in the afternoon. Jarel Ndombele '26 and Nolan Martin '25 got on the scoresheet for SAC.
On Sunday, the Saints fought back to grab a 2-1 lead through a Jayden Walters '26 penalty and Ndombele's second goal of the weekend — only to give up a goal on a set piece in the dying seconds for the 2-2 final result.
Before heading to the Fort Wayne United Showcase weekend, SAC travelled to Ottawa for scrimmages with Carleton University and Louis Riel SS, along with local match-ups with the Juventus Academy and Bill Crothers SS.
The Saints are now getting ready to kick off their busy indoor tournament schedule, which starts at the University of Toronto on Thursday, February 20th.
Go Saints!
