Aurora, ON - St. Andrew's College delivered a commanding performance on September 13 at La Brier Family Arena, defeating Upper Canada College 8–2 in a game that showcased SAC's depth, discipline, and offensive execution.
The Saints came out flying, scoring four goals in the opening period. Marcus Magri opened the scoring at 17:56, followed by a pair from Jacob Bultje, who finished with two goals and two assists. Tucker Sinclair added the fourth, capping a dominant first frame.
SAC continued to control the pace in the second period with goals from Alex Carscadden and James Roy. In the third, Nolan Long sealed the win with two goals, both assisted by Cooper Bordeaux, who had a strong night with multiple points.
Goaltender Noah La Gambina was steady in net, turning aside 17 shots and keeping UCC's offense at bay. SAC outshot UCC 42–19, with consistent pressure across all three periods.
The energy in La Brier Family Arena was electric, with SAC students packing the stands and fueling the team's momentum with relentless chants and cheers. The home crowd erupted with every goal, while UCC's supporters were quickly silenced as their team fell behind early and never regained footing.
Despite goals from UCC's Louis Lettieri and Emmanuel Chan, SAC's structured play and relentless forecheck proved too much. The Saints also showed composure in a physical contest that saw a combined 52 penalty minutes.
"We came in focused and executed our game plan," said Long. "Everyone contributed, and that's what makes this team special."
