St. Andrew's College were unwelcoming Homecoming hosts on Saturday, as they cruised to a 7-0 win over Upper Canada College (UCC). It was their second victory of the week, as SAC 1st Soccer moved to 5-0-0 in league play and hold firm in first place in the CISAA Division 1 standings.
At Yuill Field, the Saints (10-1-1) had plenty of the ball in the opening stanza, but it was UCC who broke through on goal first. Raistlan Evans '27 was up to the task, stopping the point blank shot and from there SAC was off to the races. Just before the half, winger Jah'Zion Taylor '27 cut in on his dominant foot and fired the Saints onto the scoreboard first. Then, the floodgates opened through a pair of goals each from Jayden Walters '26 and Jarel Ndombele '26, along with markers from captain Josh Henriques '26 and new boy Luscien Yu '29.
SAC truly shared the ball on Saturday, with midfielder Merek Husack '27 adding a game-high three assists.
On Wednesday, the Saints were in complete control in a 4-0 victory at Appleby College. Walters scored twice, with Henriques and Alex Wang '29 also getting in on the act.
Before heading in to the Canadian Thanksgiving break, SAC 1st Soccer hosts always tough Crescent School for a mid-week match-up.
Go Saints!
