In a highly anticipated matchup between St. Andrew's College and Bishop Kearney, hockey fans were treated to an intense and thrilling game that had it all - goals, penalties, and incredible goaltending. Period two continued to deliver excitement as Bishop Kearney's Brayton Frick scored an unassisted goal at 04:13, extending the lead to 3-0 for Bishop Kearney. The final frame started in the worst possible way for SAC as Bishop Kearney's Grant Denuccio found the back of the net with an assist from Charles Kresl, making it 4-0 with 18:46 left in the game. The Saints showed some resilience with a goal at 13:59 by
Jack Good, assisted by
Dean Letourneau, closing the gap to 4-1. SAC pushed but couldn't convert on some late powerplays and the game finished 4-1 for the hosts.
