The Saints filled an open week before Thanksgiving by scheduling a game against the Mississauga Huskies, an 18U club program. This match provided a valuable opportunity to get many younger players into the action, and they certainly didn't disappoint.
The Saints executed effectively on both sides of the ball, cruising to a 30-7 victory.
Senior running back Chris Stewart delivered an outstanding performance, rushing for over 100 yards and two touchdowns, while adding more than 60 yards receiving. His leadership and dynamic play were key to the Saints' dominance throughout the game.
With this victory, the Saints now turn their attention to a challenging exhibition match-up. They will face the undefeated St. John's College from Brantford on Friday, October 18th, at Sheppard's Bush Turf in Aurora.
