The Saints traveled to Toronto to face Upper Canada College in front of a packed crowd for their homecoming, adding extra excitement to this historic 125-year rivalry. A win was crucial to secure 1st place in CISAA and a bye to the league championship game.
Despite several key injuries, the Saints executed well in all three phases early on but struggled to get on the scoreboard until late in the first quarter, when UCC conceded a safety. From that point, the game turned in the Saints' favor, with the offense finding the end zone multiple times with touchdowns from
Senior QB Dylan Kress (1),
Sophomore REC Payton Flint (1),
Junior RB Edouard Legare (who scored twice).
The Saints' defense was a standout, allowing no points and stopping UCC's offense nine times inside the 5-yard line.
Final Score:
Saints 30, Upper Canada College 0
With this victory, the Saints improve their overall record to 4-1 (2-0 in CISAA)
