In one of the most anticipated games of the season, the Saints took on the talented Bill Crothers team and delivered a thrilling 21-14 victory. With a great crowd cheering them on, the Saints put on a great team effort, taking control of the game early on.
The action started with a spectacular 75-yard run by senior quarterback Dylan Kress, giving the Saints the early lead. Kress continued to dominate, adding a 1-yard touchdown run and later connecting with sophomore receiver Cassius Peterson for a 15-yard touchdown reception. The offense clicked, and the Saints took a commanding 21-7 lead into halftime.
In the second half, both teams battled hard, trading first downs but struggling to find the end zone. Despite strong defensive efforts, no more points were scored until a late touchdown by Bill Crothers narrowed the gap.
However, the Saints' defense held firm, securing the 21-14 victory.
