Friday, October 24th - SAC 6 Gilmour 2
St. Andrew's College came out flying in a wild opening minutes, besting Gilmour Academy 6–2 at La Brier Family Arena! From the first puck drop, the Saints were locked in, lighting the lamp three times in the first period and never letting up.
Finn Kearns got things started with a slick goal, followed by a pair from Tucker Sinclair, who was dialed in all night. Hayden Stroud added another in the second, and Jack Young and Camillo Milani capped it off in the third with back-to-back beauties.
Between the pipes, Chase Petrova was a wall—stopping 36 of 38 shots and keeping Gilmour frustrated all game long. Despite a few trips to the box (20 penalty minutes), SAC stayed composed and kept the pressure on to get
the opening series win.
Saturday, October 25th - SAC 6 Gilmour 3
St. Andrew's College delivered a commanding 6–3 victory over Gilmour Academy, showcasing depth, discipline, and offensive firepower in the second half of the weekend series.. The Saints,, controlled the tempo from the opening puck drop, outshooting their opponents 28–27 and capitalizing on key scoring chances.
St. Andrew's came out firing in the first period, with goals from James Roy, Camillo Milani, and Jacob Bultje giving them a 3–2 edge. Gilmour's Thomas Putnam and Anthony Mayes kept the game close early, but the Saints pulled away in the second with Roy's second goal of the afternoon. In the third, Nolan Long and Jake Di Capo added insurance markers to seal the win.
Goaltender Noah La Gambina was solid between the pipes for St. Andrew's, turning aside 25 shots in a full 60-minute effort. Gilmour's Everett Payie faced relentless pressure, making 22 saves.
Despite 14 penalty minutes, the Saints maintained composure and executed effectively on both ends of the ice. Gilmour, assessed just four minutes, struggled to convert momentum into sustained offense.
The Saints next action with be on Wednesday, October 29th as they host Bishop Kearney School at home. Puck drop will be at 2pm.
