Greg Reid

Gregory Reid P '15, '18

Greg Reid joined the St. Andrew’s College faculty in 2000 as Director of Athletics. He subsequently held roles as Assistant Headmaster, Executive Director of Advancement, and Deputy Head of School. Greg retired in June 2024, but continues to coach hockey and lacrosse at St. Andrew's.
 
Greg earned B.A., B.P.H.E. (Hons.), and B.Ed. degrees from Queen’s University and completed an M.Ed. degree in Educational Administration at OISE, University of Toronto. He is also a Certified Athletic Administrator.
 
Greg has coached community and school hockey for over 30 years. He has coached hockey at SAC at all levels, and for the last several years has been an Assistant Coach with the U18 AAA program. In addition to hockey, Greg was SAC's Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach for fifteen years and following retirement, has taken on the head coaching role of the U14 lacrosse team. Greg was also the Head Coach of York University’s men’s lacrosse team from 1992-1999 and was an assistant with Team Ontario Field Lacrosse for four years. He has NCCP coaching qualifications in hockey, lacrosse, and basketball, and is a Level 4 FIL Field Lacrosse Referee. Greg is passionate about helping players reach their maximum potential as student-athletes and teammates.
